With their keen eyesight and remarkable ability to locate carcasses, they help keep the bush clean and play a vital role in the natural cycle of life.

A giraffe and zebra moving quietly through the trees — a simple scene, but one that captures the magic of a Moremi game drive.

With wildlife moving freely through a landscape of woodland, grassland and floodplains, you never quite know what will appear around the next bend.

"We had such a wonderful stay at Island Maun. It came highly recommended by members of the DriveBots group, and it certainly lived up to the praise.

After eight rough and dusty days in the bush, it was an absolute pleasure to arrive somewhere so clean and welcoming.

The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable and we had a fantastic night's rest before continuing our journey. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Island Maun to anyone looking for a comfortable stopover in Maun."

Zebras are one of the most iconic animals seen on an African safari, easily recognized by their bold black and white stripes.

Their unique stripe patterns help confuse predators when they move together in a herd, fittingly known as a dazzle.

Today we celebrate one of Africa's most fascinating predators — the African wild dog.

Highly social, intelligent, and incredibly agile, wild dogs rely on teamwork and strong family bonds to survive.

To encounter a pack in the Botswana wilderness is a privilege, whether they are resting together, racing across the plains, or gathering around the den.

A cheetah's eyes are built for the hunt. Distinctive dark markings beneath the eyes help reduce glare from the sun, while their sharp vision allows them to spot potential prey across the open grasslands.

But when you look into those golden eyes on safari, it's hard not to forget the science for a moment and simply appreciate the intensity of one of Africa's most remarkable predators.

There is something timeless about gliding quietly through the channels of the Okavango Delta in a mokoro.

Pushed gently through the water, surrounded by floating leaves and reeds, the sounds of the delta seem to come alive — birds calling, water moving softly beneath the boat, and wildlife hidden among the vegetation.
