Every morning begins with signs of what passed by the camp overnight.

Hyena prints by the water. Elephant tracks through the bush. The delicate footprints of genets in the sand.

The bush is always moving, even while you sleep.

“This was our first night in Botswana. Our flight times had changed by the were still able to collect us from the airport at short notice.

As soon as they collected us a game drive began. The driver sensed the children's interest in the wildlife so started pointing things out. He took a scenic route to the entrance and we saw kudu, springbok and monkeys on the way!!

Once there we dumped our bag in the amazing lodge room and went straight out birdwatching around the grounds and along the river- seeing 24 species straight away!

We had time in the pool, a great dinner and breakfast and a very comfortable night.

What a wonderful place.”

On World Environment Day, we celebrate the wild places that make Africa so extraordinary.

They provide habitat for countless species, support local communities, and offer future generations the chance to experience nature in its purest form.

An African safari is more than a journey through beautiful landscapes — it is an opportunity to connect with the environment, appreciate its complexity, and understand why protecting it matters.

When the African sun climbs high, safari life slows.

Canvas stirs gently in the breeze, birds move through the trees above camp, and the bush settles into silence.

It’s a time to pause, rest, and absorb the rhythm of the wilderness.

A mobile safari changes the way you travel.

You move slowly through landscapes, noticing details — fresh tracks crossing the road, distant elephant silhouettes, dust hanging in the afternoon light.

The journey becomes less about rushing and more about experiencing.

Today we celebrate the spirit, beauty, and diversity of Africa — a continent of ancient landscapes, rich cultures, and extraordinary wildlife.

From the waterways of the Okavango Delta to the vast open plains of the Kalahari, Botswana reflects the wild heart of Africa: untamed, resilient, and deeply connected to nature.

Two cheetahs were seen moving silently across the dry grass this morning, muscles tensing, ready to blaze across the plain.

For a few unforgettable minutes, the entire bush seemed to hold its breath.

As darkness settles over camp, the sounds of the bush become your soundtrack.

The distant whoop of hyenas, the rustle of wind through the trees, the deep roar of lions carried through the night air.

Sleeping beneath canvas reconnects you with something ancient and unforgettable.
