Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and borders Chobe National Park. Accommodation is all river-facing and consists of 46 Luxury and Family-Friendly Safari Rooms, 22 Luxury River Rooms and 8 Rondavels. Activities on offer include iconic Chobe River Boat Cruise Safaris, Game Drives into the Chobe National Park, Kazungula Bridge Tours by Boat, Tiger Fishing and day trips to the majestic Victoria Falls.

If you visit Chobe Safari Lodge between November and April, your safari will have a spectacular, high-energy soundtrack. Meet the Woodland Kingfisher—the flashiest (and loudest) bird in the bush!

👑 The Kingfisher Quick-Facts:
The Look: Dressed to impress in electric neon-blue, a crisp white chest, and a bold red-and-black beak.

The Drama: They love a good "wing-flash" display, throwing their arms wide open to show off their colors and claim their favorite branch.

The Call: An unmistakable, piercing “Yip-trrrrrrrrrrr!” that echoes through our gardens. Once one starts, the whole lodge joins the chorus!

The Plot Twist: Despite the name, they don't eat fish! You’ll spot them dive-bombing the lawns for grasshoppers and lizards instead.
