URGENT VACANCY: SOUS CHEF

We are searching for an amazing qualified and experienced Sous Chef to join our fabulous team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

 BGCSE or Equivalent
 Tertiary Qualification in Culinary Skill
 5 years experience in a high end or lodge environment
 High level of technical cooking proficiency and knowledge of various techniques.
 Collaborates with the head chef to create new recipes and menu items
 Manages food, inventory, ordering and supply stock levels
 Ensures all dishes meet company standard for taste, presentation and portion size
 Strong food & Beverage background Knowledge including food preparation, presentation and costing
 Directly supervises kitchen staff, including prep cooks, also delegating tasks to ensure smooth service
 Assumes full control the kitchen in the absence of a Head Chef.
