was established in 1969 and brewed its first beer in 1971. Our family of beers include Lighthouse, Belikin Lager, Belikin Premium, Belikin Stout and Belize Brewing also bottles Export Guinness. BREWING BEER is the production of steeping a starch source (malt) in water, adding hops, and then fermenting with yeast. All beers produced at Belize Brewing Company, Ltd undergo this process with modificat

ions in the quantity of ingredients, the pressure settings, the temperatures and the fermentation times. A beer style is a label given to a beer that describes its overall character. Our varieties of beer exhibit a wide range of qualities. Lighthouse Lager has a soft gold color with a floral aroma and flavour. It is brewed with light Canadian pilsner malt and an expertly chosen combination of German and American hops that deliver its splendid taste and aroma. - 4.2% alcohol. Belikin Lager is the favorite beer of Belizeans. It is brewed in the classic lager style and has a clean aroma which allows the malt and hop subtleties to pull through. Our Brew master is committed to allowing this beer a lengthy fermentation for full conditioning in which the yeast refines the final flavour of the beer. This is done at low temperatures over several days and sometimes up to a week. - 4.8% alcohol

Belikin Premium is the crown jewel of the Belize Brewing Company’s family of beers. This golden beer is composed of four types of barley malt that build a well-balanced body and fruity aroma. The first sip will distribute a flash of citrus-like zest across your palate. - 4.8% alcohol

Belikin Stout is everything you would expect from a stout with a rich black body and a tan creamy head. Our stout has a sweet, syrupy, roasted malt aroma with a balanced bitterness that heightens its drinkability and makes it the choice of Belizeans and International stout lovers. The taste opens up as you drink it. - 6.5% alcohol

Guinness Stout is not the typical Guinness Draft available in your hometown; this is a special style of stout that is brewed bigger than normal. It is brewed by the Belize Brewing Company, Ltd. under direct supervision and quality standards of Guinness Ltd. - 7.5% Alcohol
