Far more than a game, Pok-a-Tok was a sacred ritual reenacting the cosmic battles of Maya mythology. Athletes bounced a heavy, solid rubber ball using only their hips, knees, and elbows. Lubaantun is known for its Maya history, but it's also one of the best places in southern Belize for birdwatching. In the early morning and late afternoon, you can spot toucans, parrots, and trogons flying over the ruins.

Tanager Rainforest Lodge is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will manage guest relations, oversee daily restaurant operations, and lead and train our service team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in food and beverage, strong knowledge of customer service operations, and proven experience training staff.
