Priorities today.

It’s blueberry season on Isle Madame! Our wild blueberries are small, delicious, and grow close to the ground. Talk to any local and they probably have a blueberry picking story and a recipe to share. A popular one at our kitchen table (when I was a kid) was, “I had to pick a bucket of blueberries to buy my school supplies…”.

What would you do with a bucket of blueberries??

Had a little chat with the Captain about his 40 year career with the Bluenose II - pretty cool story. Also loved the mobile museum. A must visit if you’re in Lunenburg or if the ship is coming to a town near you!

Bluenose decks will be open to the public August 16 from 10am-8pm. Mobile Museum open Aug. 16-17 from 10am-6pm

We’re adding to our little team for the final stretch of the season!

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable and detail-oriented person to join us at The Clairestone Inn from late August through October 25.

This is a part-time seasonal position (20–25 hours/week) with weekday afternoon and weekend shifts. A great fit for a mature student, semi-retired or retired person, or anyone looking for a short-term position with consistent part-time hours.

If you enjoy meeting people, staying busy and taking pride in the little details that make guests feel welcome, we’d love to hear from you. Hospitality experience is an asset, but definitely not required as we’re happy to train the right person.
