Introducing The Lookout Restaurant — Baddeck’s newly renovated dining experience, located at Auberge Gisele’s Inn.

Join us starting Friday, May 22 as we officially open our doors with a brand new space, refreshed menu, handcrafted cocktails, local seafood, beautiful views, and the warm hospitality Cape Breton is known for.

While many guest favourites from the past remain on the menu, we’ve also introduced a selection of exciting new dishes, updated flavours, and a completely refreshed dining experience.

For years, our restaurant has been a part of your memories—welcoming locals, travellers, and tour groups alike. Now, we’re proud to introduce its next chapter…

Welcome to; The Lookout Restaurant.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes with a full transformation—expanding the space with a 1,200 sq ft addition, completely renovating the dining room and lobby, and upgrading our kitchen to serve you better than ever. Everything is being reimagined with a fresh, modern feel while staying true to what makes this place special.

While renovations are still wrapping up, our season is right around the corner—and we couldn’t wait any longer to share the news.

Our menu will feature a refreshed lineup, with new additions alongside many of the dishes you already know and love.

We’re building something special here in Baddeck, and we can’t wait to welcome you into the new space soon. Stay tuned—more to come.

As we wrap up another wonderful season, our dining room will close after service tomorrow — Tuesday, October 21st. Come in and get your last meals in before we close!

✨ Big things are coming!
During the off-season, we’ll be starting a major restaurant extension and full renovation — featuring a brand-new design, an expanded dining space, and a large, modern bar. We’ll also be giving our dining room its very own name and identity as we step into this exciting new chapter.
