🍂 A HEADS-UP FOR TRAVELLERS — THE SEASONS ARE CHANGING! 🍂

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for our region, with the possibility of wet snow on higher terrain from late tonight into Monday. Coastal areas and valleys may see rain or a mix of rain and snow.

As always, we’ll share relevant road reports as they become available to help keep travellers informed and safe as the seasons change. If you’re travelling through the Gros Morne area, please take care, watch for changing conditions, and give yourself extra time to reach your destination.

The weather isn't the best this weekend, but the fall colours sure are beautiful. Our store is open regular hours all weekend.

We are thankful for our wonderful family, friends, and staff — as well as this beautiful province. Wishing everyone a weekend surrounded by the people, places, and things you love. 🍁

As the season unwinds a little, we are going to attempt to create a little time for ourselves before the next busy winter one begins! The below hours of operation are now posted for September. We are also sharing the Bistro hours alongside as well.
We aren't sure we will be successful at following this schedule, but we are darn well gonna try haha

🍂 Happy Labour Day Weekend from Frontier! 🍂

And just like that… summer is wrapping up! ❤️

We are officially a full house at Frontier Cottages this long weekend, and while we’re soaking up every last bit of summer, our soft serve season has unfortunately come to an end. 🍦😢 Our distributor hasn’t been able to provide our favourite soft-serve mix, so that’s a wrap for this season!

The weather is starting to feel a little more like fall, but there’s still lots to enjoy this long weekend. 😊

📅 We will be OPEN Monday from 9 AM–4 PM.

Keep an eye out for upcoming changes to our store hours as we transition into fall and get ready for what is shaping up to be a busier-than-ever winter season! ❄️

And finally, a big GOOD LUCK to all the students, teachers, EAs, bus drivers, administrators and school staff heading back this week. We hope you all have a wonderful start to the new school year! 📚🍎

Our store will be closing at 5:00 PM today, Monday, August 10th, as I head off for a follow-up medical appointment.

🌾🚜 It's Hay Day at Frontier! 🚜🌾

It's one of our favourite days of the year... Hay Day! 🎉

The wagons are rolling, the hay is flying, and our animals have officially entered full excitement mode. The goats are convinced every bale belongs to them, the horses are supervising the operation (very seriously, of course), and the dogs are making sure everyone knows something exciting is happening. 🐐🐴🐶

We're still open as usual, but you may notice a few minor interruptions as we hustle to get the hay in before the rain decides to join the party—all while getting our cabins ready to welcome guests.

If you see a little extra commotion today, don't worry... it's just another Hay Day at Frontier! Thanks for your patience and for being part of the fun. 🌾💚
