Great fun for all our train enthusiasts.
Something special is happening at McAdam Railway Station on June 20 and 21.
The Saint John Society of Model Railroaders is bringing their displays to the station, and when we reached out about attendance, this is what they said:
"Many are genuinely giddy about being there." — Saint John Society of Model Railroaders
That kind of excitement doesn't happen by accident. It happens when the setting means something.
On display this weekend: model railway layouts from the Saint John Society of Model Railroaders filling the dining room, and in the main waiting room, a custom Lego model of McAdam Station built from the original architectural drawings by Patrick Bourgoin of MariLUG.
And we're giving away some rare CPR collectibles, including embossed CPR hats and classic red CPR mugs. You'll need to show up to be in the draw.
Saturday, June 20 · 10am–5pm | Sunday, June 21 · 10am–4pm
Admission by donation. And if you're looking for something to do with Dad on Father's Day Sunday, this one's for the history lovers and the train kids alike. See you there!
We'd like to thank the Government of New Brunswick for their support through the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, Archaeology and Heritage Branch.
