It's been over a year now since I semi-retired and I have to say that, although I am missing my clients and patients, I am enjoying a more relaxed work schedule and a better work/life balance.

I have GREAT news - There is a new housecall/mobile veterinary services providing wellness exams, vaccines, general health care and in home euthanasia.If you live in Kawartha Lakes, Ennismore, Lakefield, Lindsay, Buckhorn, Coboconk and surrounding areas, you can contact them for an appointment.

Even BETTER news, if you were a client of Buckhorn Veterinary Services in 2024, you will get a 10% discount on the exam fee for your first appointment (if booked prior to March 2026).

On Sunday, June 28th, join Joseph Pitawanakwat from Creator's Garden for a walk exploring Anishinaabe Mishkiki Aadiziwin — Anishinaabe knowledge of plant medicine use. Learn about the lessons plants all around us hold for living a better life on Anishinaabe aki.
