Country Maples RV Resort is located on Vancouver Island in Chemainus, BC. This 30-acre property has 185 campsites, backing onto Chemainus River with gorgeous deep swimming holes.
MAINTENANCE POSITION A full-time position requiring you to live on site in your own RV.
DUTIES:
• Maintain the park grounds, sites and buildings as needed
• Perform a variety of tasks from basic carpentry and electrical to repairing broken water lines
• Use of heavy equipment
• Enforce rules of the park in a polite manner as needed
• The position is mostly day shifts however the job requires being on call, working evenings and weekends at times
QUALIFICATIONS
• Good communication skills; customer service
• Bondable & willing to obtain a Criminal Record check
• Basic carpentry, electrical & plumbing experience required
• Physically able to do a variety of tasks, some heavy and walking
• Experience with heavy equipment (ex. Tractor, backhoe, dump truck, snow plowing).
• Team player, but also comfortable working independently.
Compensation: A site is provided at a significantly reduced rate and hourly wage paid. Rate determined based on experience. This will be discussed in more detail during your interview. A golf cart will be provided. Employees are trained in all areas of the job. We have a workshop on site that is fully equipped.
