Canoe Kayak New Brunswick will be hosting the 2026 Paddling Symposium from September 11th - 13th!!! 🛶🏕️

Some of New Brunswick’s most experienced outdoor educators will be delivering exciting workshops with plenty of things to learn, try, and explore! 🤩

If you’ve spent your summer at camp learning to paddle, exploring the Salmon river, or just falling in love with being outdoors, we have a feeling this will be right up your alley. 😉❤️

Summer 2026. ❤️

While camp officially wrapped up with the end of Day Camp, we’ve had a couple of pretty special events since then, making it a little easier to hold onto summer just a little longer. ☀️

This summer, we had 9 unique camps, 15 paid staff, welcomed over 530 campers through our doors, and served over 4,200 meals!!! 🤩

43% of our Day Campers were former or present Little Rangers, 32% of our campers came back for two or more camps, and 12% joined us for three or more!! ❤️ We also had two campers join us for FIVE camps! These stats only tell a small part of our summer story — if the trees could talk, the stories they would tell are unparalleled. 🥰

Thank you to our campers, volunteers, staff, guests, and supporters for another amazing and wonderful summer. We are so grateful and you help make Camp Wegie such a special place to be!

Chipman Summer Festival 2026! ☀️🌲

We had a great day yesterday! A huge thank you goes out to everyone who came out to enjoy the Chipman Festival at Camp Wegesegum yesterday, hosted by our friends Municipality of Grand Lake NB! ❤️

With awesome events happening throughout the afternoon and amazing vendors, Camp Wegie was the place to be. We love seeing our grounds filled with laughter, community, and so many familiar faces! Thank you to Jelisa Leblanc for capturing photos of this beautiful day! ☀️

Thank you to all the vendors, organizers, volunteers, and everyone who came out and made the day such a success. A special thank you also goes out to everyone who stopped by the Camp Wegie Bistro — your support means so much to us! ❤️

We’re already looking forward to next year!

🚣The Great Wegesegum Paddle Race!!!🚣

What an amazing morning we had on the water! Our first ever Great Wegesegum Paddle Race was a success! 🎉

Contestants took on a 5.7km paddle along the Salmon River from the Chipman Marina to Camp Wegesegum, putting their strength, endurance, and paddling skills to the test. 💪

We are so excited to celebrate our division winners of the race!!! 🥇

The Great Wegesegum Paddle Race is quickly approaching! 🚣
