🌊 Front Desk Flash: The Early Check-Ins Have Arrived! 🦭

Management would like to officially inform all guests that our seasonal VIPs (Very Impressive Pinnipeds) have checked in ahead of schedule—without making a reservation, as usual.

While we typically prepare for our noisy, heavy-weight Steller and California sea lion neighbours to roll in closer to the autumn salmon runs, a few enthusiastic early arrivals have already bypassed the front desk and staked their claims right on the nearby docks.

Here is what you need to know for your stay:

The Soundtrack: The neighbourhood symphony has officially begun. Earplugs are available at the front desk upon request for anyone hoping to sleep in past sunrise!

Prime Viewing: If you take a stroll down toward the marina you’ll get a front-row seat to their lounging and barking. Just remember to admire their impressive frames (up to 800 kg!) from a safe and respectful distance.

Dock Traffic: Expect some temporary congestion down on the water as the docks quickly fill up with our favourite blubbery visitors getting an early start on the feast.
