Thank you to all our campers and caregivers for an amazing summer at LPS Summer Camps! β˜€οΈ

We spent our weeks exploring Comox Lake, the forest and beaches, making friends, and getting creative with tie-dye, fairy houses, rafts, face painting, archery, and more.

Our favourite days were canoe days β€” where we paddled together in our Voyager canoes and enjoyed lunch at Coal Beach. πŸš£β€β™€οΈπŸŒŠ

Thanks for all the fun and memories. See you next summer! πŸ’›

πŸ„ Fungus Fest is coming up and we've got the best seats in the forest.

From October 1–4, the Cumberland Community Forest Society is hosting the 7th Annual Fungus Fest: four days of guided forest walks, science pubs, storytelling, films, a craft market, and kids' activities, all celebrating the wild world of fungi that makes this forest what it is.

Cumberland Campground is your basecamp for it all! Fall means quieter sites, crisp mornings, and a forest floor bursting with mushrooms just steps from your tent, RV, or sleeping barrel.

🎢 LPS Arts in the Park! One more concert this upcoming Friday.

A friendly reminder: drinking and smoking are not permitted on the beach (ever), including during Music in the Park. It's the law, and it's also how we keep this event safe and welcoming for everyone, including our staff, volunteers, and contractors, who deserve respect at all times.

This beloved Cumberland tradition only continues because our community shows up and cooperates. Folks who don't follow these rules, or show disrespectful behaviour will be asked to leave.

Thanks for showing up with kindness and respect. See you at the park this Friday! 🌲🎡
