Part-Time Night Auditor
Deer Lake Horizon Hotel — Deer Lake, NL

What consists of joining this team!!!

The Deer Lake Horizon Hotel is looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Auditor to join our front desk team.
As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service throughout the overnight hours while completing the daily audit and ensuring the hotel is ready for the next day.
Responsibilities
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests throughout the night.
• Check guests in and out and assist with reservations and guest requests.
• Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries.
• Complete the nightly audit and ensure daily financial and hotel reports are accurate.
• Balance and reconcile front desk transactions.
• Monitor the hotel during overnight hours and follow established safety and security procedures.
• Prepare paperwork and information for the morning shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Perform other front desk duties as required.

Qualifications
• Previous hotel or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel software.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to remain calm and make good decisions when handling guest concerns.

Shifts will be mainly 11pm-7am. Others may be required on a fill-in basis if need be. 16-24 hours per week.
