Are you and your partner looking for a unique outdoor adventure for the 2027 camping season? 🏕️
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, hands-on couple to join our team as Campground Hosts at Handhills High-Country Hideaway near Drumheller!
This is a great opportunity for a couple who enjoys the outdoors, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and loves creating a welcoming experience for campers and guests.
🛠️ Maintenance Lead
One partner will take the lead on campground maintenance, including:
General campground and facility maintenance
Grass cutting, brush trimming and tree work
Road and pathway maintenance
Weekly septic truck services for seasonal and long-term guests
Campsite, building and grounds upkeep
Minor repairs and troubleshooting
Garbage, recycling, firewood and general site maintenance
Preparing sites for arriving and departing guests
Routine inspections and identifying maintenance needs
Seasonal opening and closing
Campground improvement and capital projects
Helping keep the property safe, clean and welcoming
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, practical, dependable and takes pride in getting the job done.
😊 Customer Service Lead
The other partner will be the friendly face of the campground and help create an exceptional guest experience:
Welcoming campers and providing friendly service
Rental RV Cleaning and servicing
Check-ins and check-outs
Reservations and rebookings
Phone and email monitoring
Answering guest questions
Sharing information about campground amenities and local attractions
Helping resolve guest concerns
Communicating campground rules and policies
Cleaning washrooms and other buildings
Assisting with maintenance when needed
Helping maintain a positive campground atmosphere
Building great relationships with campers and fellow team members
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organized, approachable and comfortable working with all kinds of people.

📅 POSITION DETAILS
Position: Campground Host Team
Season: Mid-April to Mid-September 2027
Ideal Start: April 19, 2027
End Date: September 17, 2027
Location: Handhills High-Country Hideaway
Schedule: Approximately 50 hours/week per person
Compensation: SALARY
Accommodation: Free campsite
