Silver Muskie Lodge, located on Red Gut Bay on Rainy Lake, Ontario, is a fisherman's dream and an unforgettable vacation spot for the whole family! Ranging in depth from 7 - 90 feet, the bay supports a wide range of healthy fish populations. Whether it be big slab crappies or some world-class walleye and northern pike fishing you're after, Redgut Bay has a multitude of highly structured locations

for your angling adventure. Redgut bay also boasts the best Muskie fishing on Rainy Lake. The lake itself was dug out of solid rock by glaciers thousands of years ago, and has several beautiful sheer cliffs and waterfalls to show for it. The bay is home to a sizable population of Bald Eagles and loons, as well as moose, whitetail deer, black bear and migratory waterfowl. YOUR HOSTS:
Dave & Kristi Poirier purchased Silver Muskie Lodge & Outpost April 2019. Dave grew up in Fort Frances, Ontario and knows the area well! Kristi is from Grand Rapids, Minnesota. With Dave’s mad cooking skills and Kristi’s hospitality background, they are ready to make your vacation a 5 star event! Combine our remote location and Ontario’s fine fishing, you never had a dull day out on Rainy Lake. Come see what beautiful area we reside in the Summer. This year was their 50th year coming to SML! Wowza! That’s a lot of fish 🎣
We celebrated them last night with a steak dinner and a ‘50’ cake!
(I have to get creative when I’m out here in the bush! 😆)
Wayne was the first to be invited to SML with another group, then Larry. In 1978 they both decided to fish at the Outpost vs Lodge during opener, and have been going ever since! (Except in 2020)
What a fantastic milestone! 🥳
Chuck, the teenager of the group, has been coming for 25 years! 🎉

Dave & I enjoy your stories & memories of those past years and are happy to see you return each year!! 🤩
Safe travels home to: Roseau, Florida & Vermont! See you next year!!
