The Captain's Quarters is an original 1894 Log House built by Captain Edward McCroskrie who raised his large family on Galiano at the turn of the century. The building has been lovingly restored to more that its former glory. There are vaulted ceiling upstairs, a queen-sized Norwegian sleigh bed, rubbed Amish furniture, full sized double sofabed downstairs and the house has been beautifully finished throughout by master carpenters using teak, fir & yellow cedar. It is 800 sq ft with an authentic ship’s ladder between the two floors. The Captain's Quarters is very PRIVATE; full kitchen & bathroom facilities. Close to beaches & great hiking.
