It was great to catch up with Matthew Green today at our Union Hall for our quarterly Area Council meeting.

It was clear that the community building strategies he used while Councilor and MP will help rebuild our party.

We are proud that he has been appointed to the Interim National Director position for the NDP.

Congratulations Matthew!

Today a great group of volunteers from our Area Council Locals got together once again to set up, barbecue and serve hamburgers and hot dogs to the many players and family members of Hamilton Challenger Sports Association.

What an amazing way to spend a Sunday!

Thank you to all who participated, you are appreciated.

As we close out this school year we are already getting prepared for the start of next year. Last year, with your help we donated more than 1850 backpacks filled with supplies to 49 public and Catholic schools. This year because of the overwhelming call for more we will donate over 2000.

But we need your help. Any and all donations go directly to the purchase of supplies and backpacks. See the poster below as to how you can donate.
