Ten years ago today, on a cool, misty Cape Breton morning, Cabot Cliffs officially opened to the world.

A perennial No. 1 course in Canada and a Top 100 layout in the world, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw’s masterpiece has established itself as one of golf’s most recognizable courses, offering a distinctive and truly remarkable golf experience.

A decade later, we remain grateful to everyone who has walked these fairways and helped shape the story of Cabot Cliffs.

The fifth hole at Cabot Cliffs is a true test of strategy, where course management plays a major role in how golfers navigate this sharp dogleg-left.

Longer hitters willing to take on the dogleg can leave themselves with a short chip shot in, while more conservative players may favour positioning and rely on a mid-iron approach into one of the course’s more unique greens.

Soak in the sweeping scenery from the green, one of the best spots on the course for a group photo.
