What a beautiful day to get outside and enjoy the fresh Cape Breton air! Inverness Adventures is officially open and ready for another great season on the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail.

We’re excited to have a couple of family-friendly accessories available this year, including a child wagon trailer and a kids’ tag-along bike, making it easier for the whole family to enjoy an adventure together.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing ride out on the trail or a fun family outing, we’d love to see you. Stop by, hop on an e-bike, and explore the beauty of Inverness and the surrounding area!

Today marks the start of another exciting season at Inverness Adventures, and we couldn't be happier to welcome riders back to the beautiful Celtic Shores Coastal Trail!

After a very long Cape Breton winter, it's great to see the bikes rolling again and visitors exploring the stunning scenery that makes our area so special. Whether you're looking for a relaxing ride to Mabou, a scenic coastal adventure, or simply a fun way to spend the day outdoors, we're ready to help you make the most of your summer.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us last year, to the ones who have already booked with us and those who continue to support our locally owned business. Your encouragement and support means the world to us😊.

Now if Mother Nature would just cooperate and bring us some warmer temps, we'd be all set! Here's hoping for sunshine, blue skies, and plenty of great biking days ahead.

We are open 7 days a week, 9am-6pm and look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends throughout the season.

🚴‍♀️ Monday, June 1st-Opening Season at Inverness Adventures! 🚴‍♂️

Another exciting season is underway at Inverness Adventures E-Bike Rentals! We are looking forward to welcoming both new and returning riders to experience the beauty of Cape Breton on two wheels.

Located just outside Inverness, with the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail right at our doorstep, there is no better way to explore the stunning scenery, coastal views, and charming communities along the trail.

As we kick off the season, we’re hoping the weather starts warming up and sunshine becomes a regular visitor. Today was my very first bike ride of the season on the beautiful Celtic Shores Coastal Trail, and what a perfect evening it was! The sunsets, the ocean views, the peaceful trestles, and the fresh Cape Breton air reminded me exactly why we love what we do at Inverness Adventures.

There is just something special about riding the trail on an e-bike — cruising along , stopping to take in the scenery, and soaking up every moment of the adventure. From the quiet wooded sections to the breathtaking views overlooking the water, every kilometre was absolutely beautiful.

We are getting excited for another season of welcoming visitors to Inverness Adventures E-bike Rentals and helping people experience the magic of the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail. Summer cannot come soon enough! 🚴☀️🌊

The risk of wildfires has lowered enough in some counties for restrictions on travel and activities in the woods to be lifted today, August 29. The burn ban remains in place for the entire province until October 15 or until conditions improve further.

Effective 4 p.m. today, the woods restrictions are lifted in the following counties:

- Cape Breton
- Richmond
- Victoria
- Inverness
- Guysborough
- Antigonish
- Halifax.

“Our data shows conditions are heading in the right direction in certain parts of the Province, enough for the professionals to recommend lifting the woods restrictions in those areas,” said Premier Tim Houston. “While our crews are still battling the fire in Long Lake, Nova Scotians have taken the precautions needed to keep wildfire activity low in other parts of the Province. The conditions are ready for them to get back to safely enjoying the woods again.”

The remaining counties in Nova Scotia are still under the woods restrictions as conditions continue to be extremely dry and hazardous:

- Pictou
- Colchester
- Cumberland
- Hants
- Lunenburg
- Kings
- Annapolis
- Queens
- Shelburne
- Digby
- Yarmouth.

Restrictions in these 11 counties will remain in place until October 15 – regarded as the end of wildfire season – or until conditions allow them to be lifted. The fine for violating the restrictions is $25,000.
