Momma #66 was a first time momma and things have not been very smooth. She's not quite sure what to do yet but slowly progressing.. she cleaned up baby "Snowball" pretty good after birthing, but didn't really know what to do after that.. it's been a struggle to say the least. She is mothering him, but not letting him drink off her.
We have been bottle feeding this little sweetheart. Hoping things will work out for them both or else might see if Charlotte will help feed him 😀

Momma #60 was a first timer having a baby and did everything perfectly! Baby was up and drinking pretty fast. They are both doing great!

Just an FYI about Eggs..

We currently have a wait list for eggs but trying to satisfy all our customers at the same time.

We just brought in 50 new chickens and they are just starting to produce. But we are in a transition at the moment. We will have small/medium eggs from them for the next while til they are full size. As well as full size eggs from our existing chickens.
In the mean time.. if you place an order that we collect for you for a specific date... we are only able to collect for the original amount that you asked for. You can not call back and ask for extra eggs and expect us to have that for you with your original order.. We have others on our list and trying to make everyone happy.
Please be patient with us.

We are not a grocery store. We are a farm...
Just need to remind some people about that.

Momma #39 and baby are doing great. Baby was up standing and trying to drink within 17 minutes.

Momma #112 was a first time Heifer. She did a great job cleaning up baby but had a little trouble standing still to feed baby at first. She figured it out pretty quick and they are doing great together. Great success for a first time Momma!

Momma ( #12) didn't accept baby right away so we put them both in the pen to bond together. Took about a week until we felt comfortable letting them out with the rest of the cows in the maternity ward. Momma and baby boy bonded and are doing great now!
