We’ve been running cat skiing trips since 1998. Here’s what we know about timing.
Every month at White Grizzly has its own character : December’s fresh start, January’s Coldsmoke, February’s peak conditions, March’s big lines and long days.

There’s no bad month. But there is a right month for you.

We’re already 58% booked for next winter...and it’s June.

We’ve been cat skiing these mountains since 1998.
And the question we kept asking ourselves was what’s beyond the cat roads?

The answer was always out there. Bigger lines. Terrain most people never see. Terrain most people never reach.

So we built a program around that idea. Use the cat to get deep, fast. Use touring to go further. Let the conditions decide the rest.

No fixed itinerary. No performance pressure. Just a small crew, a great guide, and the best skiing we can find that day.

At the end of every day, you come back to Wild Bear Lodge. Private cabins, private chef, sauna and cold plunge. A full reset for the mind and the body before another day in the mountains.

That’s the Peak Experience. 2027 spots are open. Link in bio.

Seasonal change is undeniable, but there’s always a little pinch in our hearts when we see the snowpack melting. Snow will be back in 5 months and we're already looking forward to it!

Thank you for the great shot Kootenay Reflections Photography

Far above the Lardeau River winter snow is melting away.
