Meredith, my daughter, and I have an annual tradition of picking 25 bouquets of sunflowers and deliver them to all the chemo and radiation patients at the cancer treatment centre in Charlottetown.
We had some extra help this year. I went to a new bakery in Murray Harbour the Dough Rollers and I asked Cathy the baker if she sells flowers. She said Jan is the bouquet specialist. They were so touched by our tradition that they offered to help.
Meredith and I had a blast with Jan, creating 25 beautiful bouquets, each individually unique for every beautiful soul having chemo and radiation on Friday.
