🥹🥹 It was a scary jump renting our beloved “Family Cottage” for the first time ever. It ended up being nearly a year of updates, thrifting, and curating before welcoming our first guests - how wrong I was to think we could pull that off in 3 months 😅

Thank you to my family who “trusted the process” when I showed up with cans of candy coloured paint 🎨 Plus the countless days (and weekends) everyone sacrificed to turn this cottage into the gem we always knew it could be 💎

This summer we welcomed many families & friends to enjoy our magical spot on little lake and we are so overjoyed you’ve all felt the love & effort we’ve poured into this place ✨

It’s come a long way from the plywood floors and mishmash of old beds. We are grateful to the kind and incredible guests who have treated our cottage with such care! 💕

September now has 2 night bookings available to soak in the last of the sun and the warm lake ☀️

Fall is also open for bookings, come see the leaves change, have a campfire, cook a meal, and bring the whole family to gather at the table 🍁 🍂

Wanna see what we transformed since last August 2025?

We tried to keep a bit of whimsy, where it made sense, but we decorated the cottage with comfort and space in mind. Everyone can spread out - 3 bedrooms have king bed and 2 have queen beds, so a couple doesn’t gets stuck jammed on a full mattress 😅

Plus breakfast lunch and dinner all have a view of the lake 🤩

A quick drive away from the Cottage, exit 156, just past the gas station Hewitt’s Mini Markets has incredible local fruits, veggies, jams and syrup. Always worth loading up!
