🏊🚴🏃 Ready, Set… Go! It’s Triathlon Weekend in Riding Mountain National Park

The Riding Mountain Triathlon returns to Wasagaming on Saturday, August 15, bringing athletes from across the region together to swim, bike, and run through one of Canada's most scenic race courses.

If you're visiting or travelling through Riding Mountain National Park this weekend, please plan ahead:
⚠️ Event setup will take place in the Main Beach area on August 14
⚠️ Temporary traffic disruptions and reduced speed zones will be in effect along portions of the race route
⚠️ Watch for cyclists, runners, and increased event activity, particularly along Highway 10
⚠️ Follow directions from volunteer course marshals and event staff
⚠️ Allow extra travel time if you're heading to popular visitor areas

Well, here is what is on our minds today.

The pool, the pool, the pool here at Sporty's. The pool onsite here at Sporty's is for the leaseholders and seasonal campers ONLY! Not their friends, cousins, acquaintances, friends of AJ, past tenants that are now at the other campgrounds, third cousins or long lost family members.

First off, we are not a public pool, we are a semi private pool, herein lies the issue. Both insurance and public health have an issue with just anybody using our pool. Hence the post. Not only that, it is unfair to the wonderful people that pay the fees here at Sporty's RV Park to put the pool area under such duress during the hot times when the pool is the busiest.

Sporty's staff reserves the right to ask anyone not from the property to vacate the pool at any time. Thank you for your understanding!
