We just received another cancellation and classic cabin #2 is now available from today until September 13.

The vintage experience; holidays just like in the good ol' days.
Our lakefront classic log cabins sleep 4 guests max. (including kids) & feature..... 2 Queen size beds.. sofa-bed.. beds come with fitted sheets, pillows & pillow covers (bring your own bedding & towels, or rent from us).. living room & dining area.. kitchen including pans, plates, cutlery & percolator.. wood cookstove (firewood included).. sink with water tank, but no running water.. front porch with propane BBQ, propane cook stove & cooler box.. designated compartment in shared fridge (c1, c2 & c3).. electric lights, solar lights & one electric outlet.. open fire pit (firewood not included).. picnic table.. lawn chairs.. direct lake access

Please note that our classic cabins do neither have an in-built bathroom nor running water. But washroom facilities & showers are only a few steps away.

Rent an e-bike at the visitor centre Discover South Cariboo and afterwards relax in the most comfortable recliners while watching the latest movie at the South Cariboo Theatre

Effective tomorrow, August 28 at noon the Off-road vehicle ban for the Cariboo will be rescinded.

Effective tomorrow, Friday August 28, at noon PDT the Off Road Vehicle (ORV) prohibition is rescinded in the Southeast, Cariboo, Coastal and Kamloops Fire Centres.

We recognize that ORVs play an important role in recreation, hunting and accessing the outdoors for many. Restrictions are only considered when multiple factors indicate an elevated wildfire risk, heightened wildfire activity and limited capacity to respond to new fire starts.

With improving conditions in some regions of B.C., and cooler wetter weather in the forecast we are now able to rescind these prohibitions. We continue to monitor wildfire risk and prohibitions may be implemented or rescinded as conditions change.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation shown by ORV users during this period. We know many riders take fire prevention seriously and recreate responsibly on established roads and trails. If you're returning to the backcountry, we ask for your support in reporting any new wildfires through our app or by calling *5555.
