The mission of Silver Lake Camp is to provide an opportunity to experience outdoor education and exploration in an environment designed to encourage meaningful and collaborative learning. An opportunity for all ages to reconnect to nature, themselves and others. Silver Lake Forestry Center had been in operation for over 40 years and is known for offering quality forest education programs and outdo

or camping experiences to young people between the ages of 7 and 16 years. The Camp includes a brand new lodge with full kitchen, 10 cabins that each sleep 8-10 people, 6 no-fee camping areas and a beautiful lake that is fully stocked with rainbow trout. In order to continue running this education camp that has changed the lives of over 10,000 children in the past 4 years we are asking for the community to come together to show their support by becoming a member or sponsor of Silver Lake Camp! Check out this little nugget from the past? Peter Hiebert and I didn't quite see eye to eye when we first met, he was new at Evans and I was much newer in life in general. Excellent time together over the years working to the betterment of Evans Lake. I too was impacted by Dave (though less time and different life timing) but his passing affected me deeply.

Congrats Peter in a long successful career!!!
