Sharing an Amazing Review

Plantation House is truly exceptional. Rose is the consummate host — warm, thoughtful and attentive without ever being intrusive.
The house itself is gorgeous, but what really sets it apart is the level of care and attention to detail. The linens and bedding are beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, and the Stearns & Foster mattress made for an incredibly comfortable night’s sleep. The Frette robes were such a lovely touch, too.
Every detail feels intentional and genuinely guest-focused. Nothing is overlooked, from the quality of the products to the little touches throughout the house. It has all the charm and character you want from a beautiful B&B, with a level of comfort and thoughtfulness that feels more like a luxury hotel.
A truly special stay — I would absolutely return.

10/10 Exceptional
Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better.
