Yesterday Kenray gave the grass a trim before the end of the season. It looks so good!

Before, during and after. I think it looks pretty good, considering I’ve never done that type of cut before.
Ran out of screws to finish off securing all the boards down, 🫤 but we got them all down and in place. I forgot to take a picture of whole deck!

So far September has been warm, but cooler temps are on the way.

Eric in cabin 3 got a nice whitefish!
Whitefish are not as popular on Nungesser Lake, so it’s fun to see something besides walleyes, pike and perch.

There may only be two of us left here to finish the dock rebuild, but we are making it work to the best we know how. I’m grateful for Kenray’s dedication, and easy going, positive attitude. 🥹🙂

As the days tick off until season ends, I am reminded how short life can be. I’m thankful Brock had such a beautiful vision and dream for Birch Point Camp on Nungesser Lake and that he shared it with me. I encourage you to chase your dreams while you can, because you will never know how many summers you left on earth.
