Whew! Welcomed our first guests of the season yesterday! Opening week for us: fresh coats of paint, an ungodly amount of laundry, a few spills, a little bit of chaos, a lot of deep cleaning, and some tasty bites & beach fires squeezed in for good measure. We wouldn't have it any other way😅

We're back in NL and had the caribou come say hello😃

Just one week left until we open for the season and we're working non-stop these days to have everything ship shape.

We're excited to welcome our guests this year and share the rugged beauty and unique experiences of Gros Morne. Here's to year three!

Time sure flies - it's not long now until we'll be on the road to Rocky Harbour, preparing everything for our guests and getting ready for our third season in beautiful Gros Morne! We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to our little corner of the world 🙂

Here' a little occupancy update: June and July are quite full with a few select dates remaining! August is about 50% full and September has plenty of room. Detailed availability at thecandlelight.ca!

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season and hoping 2026 is a year full of joy, laughter, and maybe a bit of adventure too.
