An All-Inclusive Photography Retreat in Gros Morne
This October, experience Gros Morne National Park at one of the most beautiful times of the year as vibrant fall colours transform the landscape into a photographer's paradise.
Join a small group of photography enthusiasts for an immersive two-night retreat based at the boutique Augustus Jane Inn in Rocky Harbour. Led by Kurtis Walsh, Newfoundland and Labrador based photographer and videographer, this experience is beginner-friendly and will introduce the fundamentals of DSLR/Mirrorless photography and practice a variety of techniques to use in the landscape photography field. Whether you're looking to sharpen your technical skills, improve your composition, or simply enjoy photographing one of North America's most spectacular landscapes, you'll receive expert guidance every step of the way.
Unlike traditional workshops, this retreat is built around learning in the field. You'll photograph dramatic coastlines, colourful forests, quiet harbours, and sweeping mountain vistas while receiving hands-on instruction and personalized coaching from an experienced photographer with unique knowledge of the area.
Everything is taken care of—from comfortable accommodations and delicious meals to transportation to photography sites—allowing you to focus entirely on your photography and enjoy the experience.
Participants must bring their own DSLR/Mirrorless camera and at least 1 lens.

*Triple and quad occupancy are available in designated guest rooms with 2 beds only and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
** Double occupancy may include a room with 1 Queen bed
Terms:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your space. The remaining balance is due no later than September 15, 2026. Reservations not paid in full by the deadline may be released and deposits forfeited.
Retreat confirmed once minimum participation is reached. Refunds will be granted if retreat is cancelled for any reason. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
