The Lakewood RV Resort Campers: Get your motor running and head out on the highway to Glencoe Legion on June 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the first Classic Car Cruise and Show to support the Legion. The event features live music @ The Station, interesting vendors, food trucks, raffles, a 50/50 draw and much more. Admission is free to the public. For those with a classic vehicle, an optional cruise precedes the show. $5.00 for show vehicles for the cruise and show.

🫐 Calling All The Lakewood RV Resort Bakers! 🫐

Do you have a famous blueberry pie, a muffin recipe everyone asks for, or a delicious family favourite that's too good not to share? Now's your chance to put your baking skills to the test at the Roots & Revival Blueberry Baking Competition!
Bakers of all ages are invited to enter their homemade creations in one of four categories: Pies, Muffins, Crumbles, or Pastries. It's a fun way to celebrate blueberry season, showcase your talent, and maybe even earn some bragging rights along the way!

Entries must be dropped off by 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 11 at the Port Glasgow Yacht Club, with judging beginning at 3:00 PM.

Whether you're a seasoned baker or simply love spending time in the kitchen, we'd love to see Lakewood RV Resort represented at this great community event. Gather your ingredients, dust off your favourite recipe, and join the fun!

The Lakewood RV Resort Campers: Products made with heart take centre stage as local artisans present their wares at the Rodney Country Market's Artisan Market, June 6 from noon to 4 pm. Vendors will offer a variety of products, including personal care items, baked goods, candles, jewelry and much more. The market is located at 20662 Marsh Line in Rodney. Parking is free and admission is a donation to the local food bank.

The flowers are beginning to bloom, and campers are hard at work sprucing up their sites, making The Lakewood RV Resort look more beautiful every day! Take a moment to enjoy these stunning poppy flowers soaking up the warm sunshine. Their vibrant colours are a wonderful reminder that summer is just around the corner.

🕺🎶 Get Ready for a Groovy Night at The Lakewood RV Resort! 🎶🕺

Join us this Saturday, June 6, for our Opening BBQ and Dance! The fun kicks off with a delicious BBQ at 6:00 PM, followed by a 70s & 80s-inspired dance party that will keep the good times rolling until 10:00 PM.

Dust off your bell bottoms, leg warmers, neon colours, and disco outfits because campers are encouraged to dress in their favourite decade's fashion! There will be prizes awarded for the best costumes, so don't be afraid to show off your retro style.
Adding to the excitement, one of our very own Lakewood campers will be DJing the evening, spinning all your favourite hits from the 70s, 80s, and beyond!

Come out for a fantastic evening of great food, great music, and great company as we celebrate the start of another wonderful season at The Lakewood RV Resort. We can't wait to see you there!

🌞 Exciting News, The Lakewood RV Resort Campers! 🌞

The Lakewood RV Resort swimming pool is officially open and ready for another great season! With warmer weather on the way, we can't wait to see families and friends making memories, cooling off, and having fun in the pool.

🏊 Pool Hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Adult Swim: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

As a friendly reminder, please lower the umbrellas when you're finished using them to help keep our pool area safe and in great condition for everyone.

Grab your swimsuit, sunscreen, and get ready to enjoy some fun in the sun!

🌕 Three stunning moonlit views captured from the bluff at Lakewood RV Park by Craig Mansell.

Craig shared these beautiful photos along with the details behind last night’s sky. The moon was in its Waxing Gibbous phase, 13.12 days old and 97.52% illuminated, shining from 404,307 km away with the moon sign in Scorpio.

Thank you, Craig, for sharing both the incredible photos and the fascinating moon facts with our community.
