First of all, breakfast is available for purchase for guests of the Montage Rose Inn and is available by reservation for the public.

Second, no they’re not! These are and they’re so delicious. This dish has cheese added in but for vegans you can do without!

Prosciutto
Cucumber
Greek yogurt with seasonal berries

This little fawn is only a week or so old and is hanging out alongside the building. She wasn’t too happy to see us so we grabbed a quick video and left her to hang out until momma came back.

This time of year you can see the fawns tucked away in the grass but this little one was enjoying its patch alongside the foundation.

Another wonderful guest has enjoyed their stay at the inn. This is so great for us to see as we had a rough transition last September into the closing season after an awesome summer.

Today was the annual plant sale in Saint Andrews which is held at the Wesley United Church. The kids were so helpful selecting plants while braving the cold ocean winds so we took them to a few local spots all within a few minutes walk from the inn. Both and are located on the same street (Princess Royal) and two blocks down from the Montague Rose. The boat launch is a few steps further and is worth a trip at low tide to see all the periwinkles and to skip rocks over to Navy Island. It was a quick and perfect morning before prepping the inn for our next guests.
