A magical experience awaits you on the majestic Sunshine Coast of British Columbia near the Village of Egmont. Nestle into our modern rustic cabins or set up camp beneath the towering evergreens. We, your hosts, and our yard-full of farm friends live just up the hill, but we sneak out often to welcome our guests. Strongwater Camping and Cabins offers group bookings at either Morningside or Sunset
(2-night minimum). Each group includes 4-5 cabins and 4 campsites to accommodate your next family reunion, friends get-away, or team-building retreat. Individual camping and cabins are available occasionally. There’s a three-night minimum for campsites and two-night for cabins. Call or email for more information. Our farm is at the top of the hill. Animal Visiting Hours are daily from Noon to 3 pm. Since this is our animals’ home and they are free-range, we ask that you please keep your pets on a leash. We appreciate our two- and four-legged guests respecting our privacy and the safety of our animals. Our hand-built cabins provide a simply magical experience, with warm, comfy beds, a table & chairs in most, a mini-fridge, a fan for summer or a heater for winter. Nearly every cabin and campsite features a firepit and a picnic table. The cabins’ decks are surrounded by forest. (Firewood is available for $30/wheelbarrow until 6 pm unless we are in a provincial or regional fire ban.) All have access to the spa-like washrooms with coin-operated hot showers and flush toilets. There’s a dishwashing station in the center of the Wash House where you can refill your water jugs and bottles. We ask that you conserve water and keep the Wash House clean.
