🚌 FlixBus Service Now Includes the Almaguin Highlands

Explorer's Edge announced today that FlixBus has added scheduled service through the region, including a stop right Crystal Cave Canada, providing a new transportation option for residents, seasonal workers, students, and visitors traveling to and from the Almaguin Highlands.

The route connects Toronto (Union Station and Pearson Airport) with several northern communities, with stops in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville, South River, Parry Sound Municipal Airport, and North Bay.

Service operates seasonally from Thursday to Monday, offering another way to access the region without a personal vehicle.

Hello friends!!
We’ve got lots of exciting announcements and we’re gearing up over here for opening day on June 28th! The deer are starting to show off their antlers and our first few fawns have been born!

We have decided to extend our hours this Season and we will now be open on Sundays and Mondays starting at 8am instead of 10am!
~Thursday evenings for the die hard Deer enthusiasts! Book a 1 hour tour with Chris at the best time of the day to get up close and personal and learn even more about the deer here on the farm!

I am lucky they come to visit many times a day and are getting tamer.

Forest Lake today - a 3 Minute Drive from our location. Today is a high of 16 C. Monday is going to be 27 C and it is available if you looking for a quick getaway. I am loving the warmer temperatures! 🌞😎

This morning I was awakened to the sound of Tommy outside my window.
He actually positions himself next to the windows and looks for me to give him treats.

I am grateful to the Creator for putting all the animals in my path for me to care for and protect.

Have you noticed the animals are smarter now compared to many years ago?

The Snow has finally melted off the path to the Cabin but there are still a few areas where it has not completely melted.

Today, the temperature is 2 degrees Celsius but it will warm up to the 16 degrees by Wednesday.

We will be ready to receive Guests May 1st which is still available.

You may have heard news of flooding in the North. There is no above ground flooding on property or on our street.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who are fighting the good fight against the flooding. 🙏

Good Day Everyone, I hope your day will be great!

Today is a beautiful sunny day and it will be 22 degrees by this afternoon. It feels so good after many cloudy, rainy/snowy days.😀
