🎒📚 And just like that… the campground gets quiet. 🌲❤️

The kids are back to school, the bikes are parked, the playground is still, and the campground feels just a little too quiet.

After a summer filled with laughter, campfires, fishing, swimming, and kids running around making memories, it’s strange to see all these empty spaces again. 🥹

We’ll miss the noise.
We’ll miss the giggles.
We’ll even miss the occasional “MOM!” echoing across the campground! 😂

But don’t worry… we’re not done camping yet! 🏕️🍂

The campground is OPEN until October 15th, and fall camping is one of our favourite times of the year. Crisp mornings, cozy campfires, changing leaves, and peaceful evenings await! 🍁🔥

So if you’re not quite ready to say goodbye to camping season, there’s still time to squeeze in one more getaway!

🐢❤️ Remembering Uncle Joe

Uncle Joe was a long-time camper here and someone who brought so much joy to the kids. His dock was a favourite gathering place — a place where children were always welcome to come fish, watch the water, and, of course, feed the turtles. 🎣🐢

This weekend, the kids painted rocks with turtles and then placed them throughout the park — creating little reminders of Uncle Joe wherever you go. ❤️

Every painted turtle is a memory.
Every rock is a little “we remember you.”
And every child who stops to look is part of the legacy he left behind.

Thank you to all the kids who helped make this beautiful tribute. We know Uncle Joe would have loved seeing everyone together, enjoying the park and making memories.

Rest peacefully, Uncle Joe. Your dock may be quiet, but your memory will always be part of our campground. 🐢❤️🎣
