💙 It’s More Than the Catch

Salmon season closes September 7th, and while the river has quieted down, there is still plenty to enjoy on Indian River.

Amelie & Soren, visiting from central Germany, spent the day on the river with Shawn — practicing their casting, taking in the scenery, and simply enjoying being surrounded by nature.

Amelie summed it up best: “This is better than a day at the spa!” 💙

Because sometimes the best days on the river aren’t about catching a fish. They’re about the experience, the people you share it with, and the memories you take home. 🌲🎣

It’s been a busy summer here at Indian Falls Chalets — guests coming and going, salmon season in full swing. But every once in a while, we step away for a day and enjoy the very lifestyle that makes this place so special!

Last week, that meant taking our daughter and precious grandkids out on the water for a little cod fishing. Big smiles, bigger fish stories, and a lot of “just one more cast.” 🐟
