If you have never seen a set change at the Stratford Festival, it's really something to see. It appears to be almost as if it was choreographed like the stage show. Quite amazing that it's done in less than an hour!

It starts with a Friday afternoon drive through Southern Ontario, the windows down and the feeling that the weekend is finally yours.

By the time you arrive at Mornington Rose, the veranda is waiting and the pace of life has already begun to slow.

Saturday morning comes softly — sunlight through the windows, fresh coffee poured, and a garden-inspired continental breakfast waiting downstairs.

Later you wander through Stratford, then spend the afternoon at a theatre production or lingering by the river to watch our fabulous swans gliding by.

By evening you're back at the Guest House, relaxing on the veranda, watching the sky fade into a soft Stratford sunset.
