Well Windmill campers, the wait is finally over! Halloween weekend has arrived and the decorating is well underway.

As we are all excited for the festivities, please remember that sometimes the little campers … and the not so little … forget to look for vehicles and dart out into the roadway. This is just a gentle reminder that for the safety of everyone, the speed limit is 10 km/hr throughout the campground.

And just like that another weekend has rolled around!

If you were enjoying time at Windmill last weekend, it certainly was one for the memory books!

This weekend won’t disappoint! The Recreation Committee works hard all year long to plan events for campers enjoyment.

Next weekend is Halloween which is a huge hit at the campground. This will be our last hurrah this season and will wrap up the scheduled events for the summer of 2026!

One last splash of the season!

The Windmill Family Campground pools will be closing this Sunday, September 13, 2026!

Come enjoy one more dip before the cooler temps roll in and autumn takes over!

The pool is open 10 am to 8 pm, with an adults only swim from 3 - 4 pm daily. Don’t miss the last swims of the season!

Please note that the splash pad will remain open for a few extra weeks.

One more sleep until the weekend begins. Cheers! 🧡

As the busy days of summer begin to wind down, our Windmill Family Campground Store hours will be changing slightly.

Scott and I are always just a phone call away … 519.229.8982. Whether you need something from the store, arrive for a check in, or simply have a question, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help outside of regular posted camp store hours.

Camping doesn’t end with summer! Some of our most precious moments have evolved around sweater weather!

There is something truly special about fall camping at Windmill. It’s a wonderful time to slow down, relax and enjoy everything that makes camping so special.

Our season continues until October 31, so there’s still plenty of time to make a few more memories at Windmill.

Come enjoy the beauty of fall at Windmill Family Campground. We would love to have you come camp with us 🧡
