The Quarterdeck Resort is an intimate oceanfront hideaway you dream about but rarely find. Situated on the spectacular white sands of Summerville Beach in Nova Scotia. Our resort is pet friendly and wheelchair accessible. We invite guests to use the QD Rec Center which holds an indoor pool & sauna, fitness room, a lounge and an indoor theater.

*Coming soon to our resort is an outdoor pool!!*

We

offer an on-site licsensed restaurant called The Grill. Here you'll find sumptuous local seafood dishes, handcrafted sandwiches, decadent desserts and full size plates that are sure to satisfy every palate.

✨️ Join us in celebrating the dads, father figures and friends for a lovely Father's Day Brunch at the Grill restaurant on Sunday, June 21st! All-Day Breakfast will be offered from 9am-4pm.

Chef Bryce is cooking up an 'egg'cellent Father's Day Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict feature for Sunday only - available while supplies last!!

Pulled Pork Benedict | Available Sunday, June 21st only!🍴
Sweet and tangy pulled pork with soft poached eggs served over a plain biscuit and drizzled with Alabama sauce. Served with a side of crispy home fries.

On Sunday - only the breakfast menu along with some signature sandwich features will be available until 4pm and our newly launched day menu will be offered from 4pm to close.

Indoor dining reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome. Take-out and Pet-Friendly patio dining is available.

Shout out to Graham from maintenance for giving the Two-Bedroom Beach Villa patios a facelift by replacing the lattice privacy wall with this more modern wood 🔨🪚

This shadow box style of fencing creates a nice balance between seclusion and openness, allowing some natural light and airflow through the patios while still keeping partial privacy from neighbouring guests.

Meet the Housekeeping Team 🧹✨

Every great stay starts with a clean and comfortable room, and that's where our housekeeping team comes in.

From our Two-Bedroom Beach Villas to our Executive Suites and everything in between, this hardworking team prepares each accommodation for arriving guests.

Their days begin by packing up the resort vans with cleaning supplies before traveling from room to room across the property. From making beds with freshly washed linens and towels to scrubbing kitchens and bathrooms, restocking amenities—including your morning coffee from — and ensuring every detail is just right, there's always something on the go.

The housekeeping team also helps coordinate and deliver special touches, such as pre-ordered charcuterie boards or bottles of wine waiting for guests upon arrival.

Their attention to detail, care, and dedication behind the scenes play a huge role in creating the Quarterdeck Resort experience our guests know and love.

Not everyone is captured in this photo, but we do recognize and appreciate everyone's role. Thank you to the QD housekeeping team for all that you do! 💙
