With over 20 years of experience as a filmmaker, director, and producer, HRM Empress Dr. Elham Madani has dedicated her career to the empowerment of women. Through the WIND International Film Festival—an acronym for Women Inspiring New Direction—she has championed those who are in danger and in urgent need of assistance, having honored numerous celebrities and changemakers for their contributions to this mission.
During her time in Hollywood, HRM Empress Dr. Elham Madani recognized a significant disparity: when major award ceremonies failed to adequately recognize the achievements of women, she stepped in to fill that void by creating the "Women Oscars" awards. Today, she is evolving that vision into a profound new movement known as Women of Scars.
"The Women of Scars trophy is more than an honor; it is a profound symbol of the wounded woman who refuses to be broken," says HRM Empress Dr. Elham Madani. "The figure stands tall, rising from her scattered, broken pieces like a phoenix.
