Finlayson Point Provincial Park

Finlayson Point Provincial Park Finlayson Point Provincial Park is located in Temagami, Ontario. The park has electrical and non-electrical campsites with basic amenities nearby.

Its our final this week!🤯

Say hi to Rebecca, one of our Maintenance staff here at Finlayson! This is Rebecca's first season at Finlayson Point, and her first season with Ontario Parks. Her favourite spot to hangout in the park is at the rock between the beach and mini boat basin, since its a great spot to watch the float plane take off!🛩️ Rebecca says the best part about her job is making friends and spending time outdoors.

It's our favourite day! !

This week we're saying thank you to Sarah! She's the park clerk here at Finlayson Point and has been working here for 3 years! Her favourite thing about working here is that she gets to help campers enjoy the outdoors!

Sarah's favourite spot is at the Temagami Fire Tower, less than a 10 minute drive outside the park. The view from the tower overlooks the stunning Temagami landscape, it is definitely worth checking out!

We have another week full of programs and activities for all ages! Join us on Tuesday for "Tracing Temagami's Ancient Canoe Routes" as we explore the history of canoeing in the region!

Or join us up at the Fire Tower on Saturday for Forests & Fires while we discuss how our forests interact with fire and how fire management has evolved over the years!
