Camping in Sept and Oct? Who's up for that?

I read a post today where someone was questioning what campgrounds are open in Oct. A few of the replies were along the lines of 'camping in Oct with Newfoundland weather is crazy'. It got me thinking of past conversations I've had with people who camp that time of year. Quite a few guests have told me, if I dont camp during early spring or late fall, then I wouldn't understand the attraction (I dont😅).
But the attraction for them as explained to me is:

No flies 🪰 (who wants to be eaten alive anyway??)
No crowds 👥 (trails or campgrounds)
No scorching sun ☀️ (hiking is easier without the heat)
Fall colors 🍁🍂 (popping!!)
Better sleep 💤 (crisp night air)
More active wildlife 🦌 (cooler temps allow for this)
Flexible travel 🚐 (campgrounds aren't booked up)

If you are planning a fall camping trip, make sure to check parks for closing dates and pack serious layers for an enjoyable fall camping experience!

Hot shower and CLEAN washrooms on site. The cookhouse is amazing for meals and charging phones. Clean drinking water!!! Bounce pillow for the kids. and 5g cell service! Incredible trails and sunsets, right from the park. We sell firewood here as well! Only 3 tent sites available with 12x12 tent pads
