Our Rooftop Apiary just welcomed two new hives to their summer home, and we can’t wait to share the magic of the bees with you. Starting June 1st, hotel guests are welcomed to join our Daily Bee Tours at 3 PM, led by our passionate in-house Bee Team.

Experience the wonder of bees up close in our lush 2,100-square-foot rooftop garden to learn the vital role bees play in our ecosystem and observe the inner workings of a live hive. End your visit on a sweet note at ARC Restaurant with a complimentary scoop of honey lavender gelato. 🍯

Beginning May 22 through August 21, join us poolside every Friday from 7:30-8:30 AM for a guided yoga and meditation session from wellness expert Tianne Allen.

Set against sweeping views of Vancouver's harbour, each session invites you to gentle movements and mindful stillness.

The buzz around our Rooftop Garden and Apiary is very real. 🐝🪴

Home to our rooftop beehives and our "Bee & Bee Pollinator Hotel", Fairmont Waterfront as been the summer destination for several honeybee colonies since 2008.

This World Bee Day, we are excited to share the return of two new beehives this month in partnership with the Honeydew Bee Collective. As part of our sustainability initiatives, we are committed to continuing the education of bees and the pollinators of our planet through our daily Bee Tours this summer. Stay tuned for more information.

Buzzing for a taste of the Rooftop Garden and Apiary? We welcome you to ARC Restaurant + Bar to sip our Apiary Cocktail made with our signature Waterfront Gin and infused with handpicked botanicals from the garden. Crafted in partnership with Wayward Distillery, this exclusive spirit is distilled using honey from our Rooftop Apiary and off-site hives.

The first glimpse of Fairmont Waterfront's new reimagined guestrooms.

We are proud to share the completion of Phase One of our multi-year renovation. 96 newly renovated guest rooms are now welcoming guests from our top four floors, marking the first step in reimagining our signature Pure Coastal Luxury experience. Ease into a thoughtfully refreshed space that reflect Vancouver’s unique blend of waterfront and forest.

The Rooftop Garden Dinner Series returns! 🍽️

An evening enjoyed on the rooftop, where long-table dining meets the beauty of Pacific Northwest cuisine.

Begin the night with a garden-to-glass cocktail and an interactive honeybee encounter. Then, settle into a multi-course Province-to-Plate dinner thoughtfully curated by Executive Chef Harris Sakalis. Each course showcases seasonal ingredients from local farms and our own rooftop harvest, paired with exceptional BC wines that reflect the region’s distinctive coastal terroir.
