🧼 Grace, your innkeeper, formerly worked on a children’s hospital cleaning team—and now she makes sure your stay is impeccably clean and sanitized, and that your every wish and need is accommodated to the best of our capacity.
🏡 Two units to choose from:
The Apartment — almost 1,400 sq ft, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a full kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out.
The Studio (bachelorette) — a cozy space with a small kitchenette, very accessible for anyone with mobility issues, and no stairs. Perfect for one or two people, or a couple with an older child. No fuss, just easy comfort.

Would you care for pastries or other local products? Chocolates? Local soaps? We can organize that! 🛍️
Since Matte Boutique Inn is owned and operated by Hazelwood Gardens, we can also arrange:
🥕 Seasonal veg waiting in the fridge
🥚 Fresh eggs
🍲 Meals to cook
🎂 Maybe even a cake—since we used to run the bakery in the front of the building
🍞 Sourdough bread we make almost daily on the farm
🍷 And yes—if you’d like local w**e or local b**r, we have w**eries and breweries right here in Vankleek Hill. We can accommodate most requests with a little heads-up. 🍺

You have access to a terrace with a picnic table in a pergola and some pretty flowers. The terrace is yours to enjoy—if you want a barbeque, there’s a barbeque at your disposal, and oodles of parking. 🚗
🎉 Looking for fun activities or info on local events? We’ve got you covered! Grace has been in the service industry since moving to Vankleek Hill years ago—she knows the area and she knows the people. Just ask! 🙋♀️
🚫 And here’s the best part: we do NOT ask you to do dishes, laundry, or any of the above. We simply ask that you leave your unit—studio or apartment—as you found it, to the best of your capacity—then sit back, relax, and enjoy. We want to respect your time away and your vacation place. 🛋️💆♀️
