It is intended to supplement the club’s other communications tools (webpage and e-news), not to duplicate or replace them. A few simple guidelines apply to anyone who wishes to post to the page:

Nordic skiing related posts and photos only. No for sale items (if you have ski equipment for sale, either save it for the annual ski swap or post it on forums like Kijiji (http://yukon.kijiji.ca/)
The club will monitor posts and will try and respond to any questions as quickly as possible, generally within 24 hours. The club will remove any posts violating these guidelines, or comments deemed as inappropriate.

Rainy day? Here's a great way to get ready for ski season.

Did you know that every ski race depends on volunteers and officials to make it happen? The Nordiq Canada Officials Level 1 online course is an easy way to get started. You'll learn the basics and be able to help with a variety of race-day tasks alongside experienced officials.

Take the course at your own pace: https://nordiqcanada.ca/officials/start-your-officiating-journey/
Whitehorse Nordic will reimburse the $25 course fee upon receipt.

For those interested in learning more, Cross Country Yukon will host an Officials Level 2 course this fall (date TBD).

Help make racing happen in the Yukon!
