International Recruitment Forum, October 2026: That’s a Wrap!

This semester’s International Recruitment Forum was a success. Throughout the day, 200 recruiters representing 95 companies from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas came together on campus to meet our students, conduct interviews, and present opportunities across the global hospitality industry.

The IRF is one of the most important moments in our students’ journey. It tests months of academic study and hands-on training and marks students’ first step into the professional world. Through the Forum, they secure internships of six months to one year. In 2025 alone, the IRF helped place our students in 69 countries, giving them valuable industry experience and the chance to discover the world.

We sincerely thank all the recruiters and industry partners who joined us, and our operations team and faculty, whose dedication made this event possible. To our students, thank you for your thorough preparation. We are proud of you.

VIP Industry Engagement Day 2026 | SHMS Caux

At SHMS, connecting with the industry isn’t something students have to wait until graduation to experience.

Today, we welcomed representatives from Capella Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, Black Sheep Restaurants, Four Seasons, Royal Caribbean Group, and Hong Kong Talent Engage, alongside Rosewood, The Ritz-Carlton, W Hotels, Shangri-La, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Sheraton.

Through our thought-provoking “What if…?” sessions, students gained firsthand insights into the people, perspectives, and opportunities behind some of the world’s leading hospitality brands.

Because at SHMS, your future career isn’t just something you study for. It’s something you start building here.

Industry Engagement Day at SHMS

On 20 October, SHMS will welcome leading hospitality organizations to Caux Palace for an afternoon of dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning.

Bringing together leaders from Four Seasons, Royal Caribbean, Hyatt, Black Sheep, Capella Hotels & Resorts, and Hong Kong Talent Engage, the event will create valuable opportunities for industry leaders, faculty, and students to exchange perspectives on the future of hospitality.

Through company presentations, discussions on Swiss Hospitality Excellence, and meaningful networking, we will explore how education and industry can work together to prepare the next generation of hospitality professionals.

The day will conclude with a fine dining experience prepared and served by SHMS students, bringing hospitality excellence to life and showcasing the standards that define SHMS graduates.

Because the strongest talent is developed when industry and education are closely connected.
