Looking for a beautiful, less touristy place near Iseltwald, away from the crowds? 🌿🏔️

Then you should definitely visit Hinterburgseeli in Axalp! 💙

There are several ways to get there:

🥾 Option 1: Drive to Axalp by car — the easiest way.

🥾 Option 2: Hike from Iseltwald to Axalp — a little more challenging, but definitely worth it.

🚤 Option 3: Take a boat to Giessbach and from there continue on foot or by bus.

🚲 Option 4: Go by bike — preferably an e-bike if you want to make it easier.

Hinterburgseeli is such a beautiful and peaceful place. Take some time to sit on the bench, enjoy the lake and simply admire the Alps. 🏔️💙

If you're looking for somewhere beautiful and much quieter than the most popular tourist spots around Iseltwald, put this place on your list! ✨

Every autumn, Swiss farmers bring their cows down from the Alpine pastures to the valleys. This centuries-old tradition, known as Alpabzug, marks the end of the summer grazing season. The cows are decorated with flowers and large bells, turning their return into a colourful village celebration. 🐄🌸🔔
