Meet the founders

This is Martha and Alfred Abegglen, the founders of the Valley Hostel.
In 1997, they built Martha’s dream project, the Valley Hostel.
With so much love and dedication, they ran the Valley Hostel for many years and continue to be a very important part of it to this day!

We are incredibly grateful to have them, and I, Lara, am very proud to call them my grandparents and my role models! 🥹❤️

Thank you, Marthi and Fred, for everything!!
